Description

MFASO is the Student Organization of the MFA program at Hunter College. Our main goal is community building and the improvement of Hunter’s MFA program. We organize Hunter Open Studios, silent auction, the visiting artist lecture series, events and open forums. We raise money and write grants, which we use to buy more equipment, ads for our events, and to pay visiting artists. The four officers of MFASO are merely facilitators. MFASO is only as productive as our entire community of over 150 students.
